Hi all, another toon. Have used brushing and gradients for the first time, did not do tyre tread as it looked awful when i did, so lefgt em out. Anyway here it is..

For a first time with gradients and airbrush, its not bad by any means.

Sure it's rough around the edges, but it has a good presence for a
1st time.

Learn to become used to the pentool, and paths. They are the superior
tools in creating toons. You can usually tell who uses pentool and who
doesn't.

Learn to use your dodge and burn to create gradients....they are the quickest
and most freeform method of creating gradients. (use with soft brushes).

Keep experimenting. That's the only way you'll learn anything.

Hi tony, many thanks for the advice. I will take it on board when creating my next toon. I do use the pentool, but I must have been using a hard brush, I will change to soft!
