Default VW Golf III

Hi,

I'm pretty sure most of you don't know anything about me. I've been gone for a while due to other interests and the university pushing on real hard. Just recently I thought I should chop something, and decided to do a Golf.
You can already see where I'm going to. The wheels are there just to help me out, until I find some better fitting ones (preferably Schmidt Modern Lines, Porsche D90s or Compomotive THs). The lights are there just for show, I'll smooth them in better. Still to come VR front lip, stubby mirrors, cleaned bumper and other details. And of course needs to be slammed!
I don't know how big of a leap the scene has taken in the last few years, but I hope I'll still fit in

Hey, welcome back!! When I looked at the homepage and saw your name under each of the latest posts I thought we had some more spam, then I saw that you're a 1000+ post member, and I was totally confused. I have been here for a while, and I don't remember you.

btw I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the chop.

Making slow progress, but it's nonetheless progress for me. Having a few years brake won't have a good effect on your skills :P Next up is probably overbrushing the grille and making the front indicators look more realistic.
Should I remove the older updates, is it too heavy to download?

That was a wise move..! I mean linking the pics

I know I'm making pretty small steps right now, but I'm just trying to keep my motivation up, and maybe see if someone has something to say about something

Next up will be overbrushing the mirrors and then I'll start seriously working with the front lip and sideskirt.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! My laptop's motherboard broke down, I thought I copied all the important files from the HDD, but apparently I didn't copy this. I'm thinking I might not start it all over again, even thou it looks pretty damn good. Too much trouble finding all the donors again..

This is how you bump old topics!

I found the .psd file the other day from my external hard drive, and did a little more work to it. It'll still take some time to finish it since I'm busy with school and all, but just wanted to let you know I'm still alive when it comes to chopping!

Still to come: front lip work, side skirt work, (partial) recolouring, (background change) and whatnots..

Wow I remember this from way back. It's looking good. I don't really see any problems with it.
