Default Auris - Lack of Inspiration

Started this Toyota Auris SR 180 about a week ago and it's been fighting with me. Firstly, the wheels - Couldn't find ones that matched (still not sure about the ones that are on it). Secondly, it's screaming to have some kind of design on it - some sort of checkered flag or something red, but nothing too OTT...
Any inspirational ideas are gladly welcome

Well here it is with new wheels on it (thanks to BT959). The idea for this one is just to make it look a little more sporty... Kinda like the Nurburgring Astra, so don't really want to take off the badge or change it too radically.

Looking good so far and i agree about the badge aswell. Seriously tho wide arch it add some decals, side vents (above the front wheel arch if ya can) and maybe some sort of bonnet vents (like the DB9's i think)

Not the best at wide arching cars, but I'll have a go and see how it turns out.

Well, here's the Auris minus the badge and the number plate and also with a red caliper. Having a bit of trouble finding a vent of some sort for the bonnet that will match up/look good. Same with decals.

Well..let me try a different approach here then Raven.
The red mirror draws too much attention.
You have this nice sleek and sexy white shape with a red dot in the middle of it.
Mirrors are one of those things that are necessary from a functional standpoint but totally suck from a design standpoint. They ruin the lines, create drag and are nothing more than an ugly appendage. In my opinion you want to blend mirrors, not accentuate them. Thankfully in the very near future, technology will phase them out and mirrors will eventually end up like the chrome bumper, the aerial antenna and the dodo bird.

A race flag was my original idea, but it's finding one that will suit that car and not be too... too... too tacky?
Maybe something like this?
