Designed this at college for our current and final project for Visual Communications. We were to write our own briefs for designing a logo for either ourselves... or anyone pretty much. All done in Illustrator CS4... and it will most likely be used for my photography from now on... and the MBV part used on my future chops

Interesting, it looks good. Just curious how you did it. I'm guessing a lot of shapes with blurs for the highlights and shadows?

Yup, that's pretty much how I did it. Started with a nice circle then marked out the tips of shapes and such so they were even. Then just used the pen tool and filled in the colours, blurring for highlights and shadows

Cool design... I'd love to have Illustrator but it's a little too costly for me...
