Default PASMAG - accidentally omitted credit

Just a few minutes ago I submitted this message to PSC...

I would like to bring to your attention that the chop that was submitted by "Neil Patterson" in the PAS chop shop article was actually MY chop. I have the PSD files and different variations of the picture to prove this. I believe the person may have saved his own copy of MY chop in a forum I use to get advice and opinions of my work in progress. I am very disappointed that this has happened as I take great pride in my work. This “Neil Patterson” is a fraud and I do not understand what he achieves in copying someone else’s work and submitting it as his own. I would greatly appreciate it if you could credit me with chop as I take my work seriously.

At the beginning of the year I posted my chop of the Dodge Caliber for the PAS competition (link below).

http://www.photoshopchop.com/forum/s...t=15877&page=4

Early this week I find that there is scans up of the February’s edition of PAS. As I glanced over the chops I was amazed to see that my chop was featured in the magazine, but to my distraught it was under the name “Neil Patterson”. Worried that someone had stolen my work I did a quick search for the name Neil Patterson and a PSC member appeared who goes by the username of “4hero”. Instead of submitting his own work, he submitted my work under his name. I know that theres not much that can be done now but I just though it should be brought to the attention of the PSC community.

######### conclusion #########
Conclusion is that this was a typographical / layout mishap where sterry's author credit was ommited accidently.
Sorry sterry.
Great chop, thanks for contributing.
To avoid accidentally omitted author credit, pls ensure your filename always includes your name or forum name.

a thought here -- perhaps a mixup in who was who ?? because looking through that thread, he submitted something different. [its a red x now though] unless you're saying he colored your chop and submitted it? - looking @ the scanned ones, Its the green chop -- neither of the center 2 chops have names next to them.. it could be that Wilde never got your name in the submittal?

because ur chop is up there separate from his... his is the green one, i know that, because i commented on the odd color when he first posted it.

This is exactly what I was thinking when I read the post and looked at the pictures. I believe it could be just a simple error on either WILDEs part or possibly the person who created the layout for the mag.

It is possible that it was just a mistake, and I hope it was....also hope it won't happen again..

Well the first 2 in the second row are both Suhails chops and his name is btwn the 2 chops. So it could be that the dude that laid out the pictures prolly screwed up and put Neils name btwn the 2 chops because there prolly wasnt a name with the black pick-up.

Yer that seems to be what had happened. I was just upset with the whole thing and it was probably just a big mix up. I shouldn't have blamed anyone for it, well until I know the story behind all this that is.
