Exactly the same as any other part. It's just allot harder cause of the complicated lines when you try brush a hood scoop. Roof scoops are easy though

Hey, this site is GREAT!!! What a find......I'm an old (literally) toy designer with lots of vehicle toys including GI Joe (I used to be the design director at Hasbro) and now am at another small company doing...........cars.
How about a "from-the-ground-up" tutorial with images that we can download and play with??? I am very experienced in Illustrator and slightly experienced with Ashlar Vellum but only used PS for color changing, and some very minor retouches for catalog and web.............
I'm starting to work on these tutorials tonight but would surely appreciate some start to finish projects.
You folks are so inspiring.......absolutely knockout work here!
Steve

Welcome to the site Steve, ,, we probably don't have many start to finish tutorials/learning projects but the guys on the site here may have several suggestions of where to start.
In the future we hope to expand our tutorial library into a greater resource including different levels of difficulty and start to finish project tutorials.

Welcome aboard Steve and jstrat85.
Design director for Hasbro !
Damn dude, getting paid to design toys is gotta be like the ultimate freakin job!
Well...almost.
We all know Hugh Hefners got the ultimate job.
Anyhow, we look forward to seeing some of your stuff and hopefully hearing some interesting things from your days in the toy biz.
I know there are a few very generalized start to finish tutes out there on chopping but most tutes only cover certain aspects, ie: lowering, color changing, adding vents, body kits, wheels, carbon etc.
If Mondala dont mind, I will post some links.
