How would u go about removing hood scoops like for instance this wrx, or could someone just do it for me. thanks

hey thanks man, im teaching my sister how to chop, but didnt know how to remove the scoop and make it clean

well, basically I shaved it.

Here's how I did it...

Original:


1. I made a selection from everything on that part of the hood from that line down, it's where I wanted the reflections to meet. (the pink line is for representation... I didn't use an actual pink line


2. I Filled in the area i selected, and used a few different tools to blend to this point... Dodge/burn, healing, etc...



3. I made the selection for the next reflection.. between these 2 lines.


4. Filled it and blended like before


5. I made another selection where the black part of the windshield is.


6. I filled and blended like before... this is why there are no window-wipers


7. I used the pentool and smudge tool to pull the interior down to the windshield line, and added the 2 reflection lines



8. Then I had a smile on my face

thats basically how i remove things breaking it up with the lasso into different sections, for the reflections
