So, since there's a new tutorial section on the front page do we really need the Tutorial section in the forum? I was thinking maybe put a link to the tutorials in a sticky on top of the forum, then change the section to the tutorial request section. That way if someone has a request they should be directed to look at the tutorials first, if what they want is not there then ask for a tutorial.
And they could also post up tutorials that they develop themselves to be reviewed and people could tell if it was a good tutorial or not, then decide if it should be in the tutorials.
The reason I say this is because when someone posts a thread in tutorial section you have to go 3 pages to see what they want...and usually it's a request, know what I mean??
well, maybe we should have people ask in the "tutorial request" instead of the tutorial section. I automaticly know to go straight to the 3rd page to see what question someone has. I agree we need to find a place to put all of those "pinned" tutorials.

I do too, but why should we? Aren't all the tutorials that are pinned already in the new tutorial section?
My whole point was to get rid of the pinned topics, but if they're still needed then keep them I guess...
i agre but the only prob is that we get rid of them then people will start posting the trouble there having with some tut in autochops instead of that tuts thread due to the fact its no there anymore
Ok, maybe rename the section then...'tutorial help' or 'tutorial talk'. It just seems pointless to have all those pinned topics if they're already somewhere else on the site. It might keep that section moving more than it already does...
I'm not saying get rid of both tutorial sections just condense them into one and get rid of the pinned tutorials. Know what I mean?
I'll have a chat with mr. wilde some time, we'll discuss a way to eliminate, but not this weekend, cause I work. I may have an idea to help these noobs figure out where they want to post. B)
