Default Peugeot 206

Hey all, I need some assistance, I'm trying to design and brush a kit on a Peugeot 206, but, I'm having trouble trying to figure out where the shadows and highlights should be for the vent on the side skirt and the small one on the front bumper

Here's the pics

Original:

Brushed with stroke path's:

Bit messy I know, but no one's gonna see that when finished

Brushed:

I know, front bumper need's fixing and side skirts need tiding up

The vents will be a bit different than in the pic when finished, just need a little help with the shadows and highlights for the two vents

I know its not very creative, but it's my first time brushing a kit so want to start off with simple stuff and also my first time using the pen tool

Thanks in advance

I have never found a way to brush that suits me, I just mess around until I get what I want.

ok lets have a looksy

firstly dont do to many wip's at once (you already had a vectra in here if im right?)

heres my 2 cents on this though

firstly start again, yeeeees thats right

it may all need "tidying up" but this is so rough your gonna struggle so start from the very begining and carefully redraw your idea (it can take hours! be warned)

secondly look on for kits to get some inspiration and use them as reference to draw yours on

once you have achieved this point we shall talk again young pedawan

Ok, I shall repost this as someone deleted it

Lol Seeing this now, it looks horrible, no sleep the other night so was really tired when I was doing this, It only took an hour to do lol

I shall start from the beginning again and put alot more thought and effort in to it, when I'm done I shall reply here

Now, one quick question before I start, should I design one thing at a time or do it all ... like above?

Also, I'm having a break from the Vectra as I've run out of ideas for it, a mate of mine is making me some alloy wheels in 3ds max, I tryed but I have no idea how to use it lol

I havn't been able to do any chop's for a few days due to work, but today I have started on the Pug again

Here's what I have so far, I've started off with the simple stuff first

I know the front bumper is bad, but that's not staying, I'll be making my own

Let me know what you think so far
