52Chevy Kustom WIP

Never tried anything like this before but that Camaro got me inspired...

So here's what I'm working on.

There's a lot of work left to do in the chrome yet, especially the grill which will take a good few hours I reckon, but I suddenly got this idea that it might be possible to do a Metalflake paint job in PS... Haven't perfected the technique yet, but its getting there. Hopefully might do some more hours on this next week when I get back from the drags.

Very good so far, some of the selections are a bit jagged but the overall look is coming along nicely.

Well here's the update...

I eventually settled for a stock convertible roof which I wasn't sure about, but its growing on me.

Although there's a few things I'm not 100% happy with I'm gonna leave it at this stage and call it finished (for the foreseeable future)

nicework.. very smooth.. you're not the only one thinking about metal-flake in PS..
