im new to the photoshop game and dont know if this has been covered before but is the a tut for colouring wheels if not hows it done

Im not sure about a tute but heres a quick and dirty explanation of an easy way to do it.

1. Select and make a duplicate copy of your wheel and paste it on a new layer above the original.
2. Go to Image>Adjustment>Hue/Saturaton and make sure you check the colorize box.
3. Move the Hue and Saturation sliders to change the color as you see fit.
4. Since this will change the color of everything, lugs, brake rotors/calipers etc., grab the eraser and very carefully remove the areas that you didnt want colored to reveal the original colors below.

Heres a quick before and after I just did using this method.
(I also blotted the shadows on the rim with a little orange/brown to intensify it somewhat and threw on some white dots to bring out the lugs and rivets.)
