Using the polygon lasso, outline underneath the car, expluding the wheels

TIP: try to find where the grass and the concrete meet, and use that (as shown) so that you will not have to do any patch work in the background

Next click the move tool in the toolbar (a black arrow) and using your keyboard arrows lower it strate down

Ok So you have it lowered to you preferred hight, next we are going to cut the white box out of the top of the image.

Take the rectangular marquee and outline the car expluding the white box, cut (ctrl-c) go File>new and paste(ctrl-v)

There you go!

nice...also you could just use the CROP tool...and outline the piece of the car you would like..and press ENTER...voila

I don't think it looks good when cars are lowered so much that the wheel well touches/covers part of the tire. Good how-to though, I lower the same way.
