Default my el camino concept

well, figured since i stopped by again, maybe i should make a chop?

mostly a crop-job atm, im pretty sure you can see that. ive redrawn bout 1/4 of it so far, and ill redraw anything that needs to be. so far, i have maybe 2 hrs of work put into it.
need a new mirror, need sideskirts, or side exhaust, or maybe even side runners. lol. side runners on possibly the lowest factory production truck.. awesome
but, i need to smooth out the front still, too. no, im not missing a front end, its gonna be a mid-engine, horizontal bi-wheeler!
ill fine tune all the details some more once i find the rest of the truck.
ill also see if i can manage to remake it at another angle. gonna be a pain to find so many different cars at the right angle.. me suck at redraws

on a side note - thats pretty much how my real el camino looks atm!

alright. i attempted to put a front end on, and it pretty much failed.. and then after spending 3 hrs searching for a background that could match, i gave up. i put more effort into a background as i did pretty much custom making the whole truck so far. ima rage quit this side angle. horrid angle when making a whole picture.
ill try to remake it on an angle now. and hopefully find a different front end, too.

yeah, the front end ruins it. i know. ill find a different one. maybe ill revert it back to my original cab, too. and yes, the rims dont fit. rear wheel is HUGE.
any ideas for the front end?

Yes, the original cab was better.. You rushed it a bit towards the end.
As for the front end, maybe take the hood lower a bit earlier, and make the headlights slanted more inwards on the bottom.
Also the side exhaust idea was cool. Or maybe exhaust just behind rear wheel.

the reason i tried to change the cab was because the angle made it look like a car with just a really long trunk-lid. its supposed to be a truck.. so i changed it to compensate for that..
but, how bout i compensate for all of it with a whole different angle? now i just need to make an ***-end instead of nose.. oh well, im an *** kinda guy anyways.

the cab reminds me more of a koenigsegg for some reason. xD

btw, i wanna give the side window a bit more curve at the front. any tips on how? only way i could do it is to select-distort-select less-distort-select even less-distort. but that tends to leave sharp corners >.<

The cab looks too narrow IMO. And it looks like it's just one big triangle. There isn't enough roof

Some parts look good, and some need a slight touch up.. As said, the roof could continue a bit more to the front. Also I'm kinda keen on the straight window/side line of the original Camino.
So umm, the middle part of the roof looks good, but the sides need some more work. The tails are nice as is the exhaust/diffusor, althou they still need slight touch ups to flow with the rear bumper.
Keep up with the good work!

yeah. i payed so much attention to the backend, that i pretty much ignored the cab.. it is a bit of an eyesore atm, isnt it?
the diffuser, is just a temporary thing atm. to me, it simply looks horrible.. i wanna put a chrome bumper, but i cant find any that look nice.. (dont pay attention to bumpers on trucks, and the el camino is the only truck i like anyways, and theyre 40 yrs old. outdated much?)
does the tailgate look right to you, btw? something doesnt seem right to me, but i cant quite figure it out..

Is the tail gate supposed to sit in a bit? it looks like the rear light sits back a bit so there are like small wings either side of it? on the near side the lights are set back but on the far side they sit flush

man that makes no sense at all lmao
