Airbrushing

Hi.

I have been working photoshoping cars for a month now. I followed an air vent tut and I am familiar with what to do. But, when it comes to air brushing...i can't do much at all. Is it the kind of car I'am working with? I followed a tutorial with a mazda?...i think (kinda popular tut between photochopers). But I got to the part where i got the shape of the body kit done...but when it comes to the lighting, I get pretty through off. Not that the tuts are misleading, just I can't find a good source of lighting that I could use. Also. when airbrushing...do u use the burn/dodge tool? or actual paint brushes? Also...do it work best with certain shaped car?

Any tips and such would be gladly appreciated.
