Website Help!!!!!

I made a HTML website using dreamweaver and i dont know how to host it and get it like a domain or .com or .org can anybody help me i can send you the codes if you want.

How important is the site, you can post it using tripod.com, but then you get their ad above yours on every page. if you don't do it using something like that you will have to pay for it. I can make a phone call and get the name and website of someone who hosts sites if you want.

i paid for mine, worked out as £10.35 for a year and thats a .com website

I typically purchase my domain names from Go-Daddy. My hosting is through Surpass Hosting. Since December '07, the server that my websites are hosted on has an "uptime" of 99%. I can't complain... Domain names from GD are about $6.99. YOu can always find a coupon code out there. My hosting package is $60.00 per year.

But with tripod am I able to take my html Dreamweaver code and put it on there(if you know what im saying). No its not that important i was just gonna do something like a mini,anorexic if you will version of PSC

You will be able to upload your HTML code, images, etc. to tripod.

Free is a good way to go since you are just getting into it. Once you feel out your needs, you can then make the jump to a paid host.

Something to the level of even a "mini" psc is much more complicated and in depth than simple html code. If you really wanted to take on this task, look into the free bulletin board systems out there. phpbbb3 is what I use. It is bridged with Joomla for my CMS.

Well i have decided to go with webs.com but when all my files were uploaded my buttons and pics would not show up i was wondering if i could give one of you the files and my user and pass and you could help me with my site????
