Nice to see someone working in Illustator, not really feeling it though, it's just a little too simple; the row of lights just doesn't work, and the mesh on a 2D car like that just doesn't fit.

How much work have you done Illustrator?

I haven't done as many as the regulars here, but if you do a search on my user name, you can find the others i have done. Some of the links have gone down unfortunately, and i lost the data due to a hard drive crash, but i'm trying to get back into it all. I personally think Illustrator is a bit more powerful than Photoshop in terms of vector usage.

yeah, Illustrator definitely is better than any other program I have used for vectors, whatever anyone does they should NEVER get Corel Draw. Photoshop is not designed for vectors though, they just don't compare at all.

What's different between the two pen tools? What versions do you have?

I never noticed a difference in the pen tools between PS and Illu. I do like how the pen tool in Illu CS4 shows you guidelines where the vectors line up, though it does get annoying sometimes.
