Default Chevy_Beat_WIP

Hi,
This is my latest work in progress, a Chevrolet Beat. I had planned on making this a wide body however, I am having some issues. Enjoy!
Original (Click Images for High Resolution):

WIP #1:

Wip (HELP) #2:

The Lines are simply for reference in the thrid photo and need some tweaking to fit the body. (I say this so people won't immediately judge the work but instead, judge the design)

The problem I having deals with the rear fender. Despite many attempts to make it give the appearance of protruding from the body I have yet to be succesful. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

Thanks for looking and I'll post more soon.

rebrush the whole rear fender with the pen tool, i use liquify with very mild settings to pull out the fenders a bit as well

I select the arch along with the wheel - copy and paste it - smudge the layer beneath to the left (in this chop) to widen the arch. Then I change the lighting to show where the light is hitting it etc.

P.S. That is one ugly little car. I hope you make it look better than the original

Default Update!

I have changed the side to something a little more plausible and practical.

your design and brushing is sweet. i really like the complex lines with this one.

it seems to look a little bluured/ smudged tbh. maybe try and clean up the edges of the kit

but imo is look great if you carry this style across the whole car.

Nice.

Default Update!

It's been a while since I last updated and sadly, I sort of forgot about this one.

I haven't done much extra but I'm running out of ideas.

Here is the next WIP....
