Here is a chop i did for a contest on a car forum board i moderate:
original:
chop:
Brushed/custom Mods:
Hood inverted vents
side fender scoop
rear bumper extension
headlights
fender highlight reflections
Props:
I did use the intercooler and rims from some contest entries posted on here, the members here are soo talented, i checked out all the contests, and was amazed by the level of detail and realism and skill, like the cars i've used the rims and FMIC from, i forgot their names/sn's but if you see this
Thanks, and i hope you dont mind me using those parts, i've played out my FMIC's and Rims
any comments welcome

Well, that's all fine and dandy but if you use parts from other chops I'd recommend contacting the chopper and asking permission before doing it again. ESPECIALLY if the parts are possibly brushed...I understand that the rims probably aren't brushed(even though they could've been modified) but the intercooler could've been brushed and taking a brushed part is a huge no-no...please reconsider taking parts from other chops in the future..

nice job, but like joe said stealing is stealing, especially if its from others chops, wut i would recommend is find a real picture of intercoolers, or what ever and recreate it or modify it to fit the chop, but don't steal, wouldn't you be mad if some one stole your chop that u made. but great chop though i like it.

aside from that, what do you think about the chop?
edit:
ya i understand, but things like rims or copy paste parts i dont think are biggie and wouldnt mind someone using mine, i made sure not to use custom parts
thanks

it's pretty good, i would buy that car if they had one like that lol, like the rims, where are those from, but your cf could use a lil help, it's hard to perfect cf

ya i know, i've made great cf, but i've lost some patterns and havent learned that new way to give it the realer look, most cf i see done is overdone, thick pattern/textures, i have a cf hood on my prelude and i use it as a reference, most of the time it looks black eheh
oh also on the rear rim i had to do some editing to make it fit wiht the car/scene, it had some problems on the rim,
hehe
