new civic type R with a twist
who says convertables are gay
mod list: lowered, new borbet rims with gloss black centre caps and red lip, bit of smoothing here and there (incl. reg plate, door handle holes, bumper parts), small re-badged grille (bottom has been made rounder and smaller badge in corner), full convertable model with S2000 interior(made from about 4 differant donors), removed wing mirrors, extended rear bumper, front fogs removed and air ducts put in, new front bumper design, tow-eye hook added, intercooler, smoked headlights, beefed up bonnet accent with black highlight lines and all this put in a new background for good measure

looks good, but to me the styling as a convertible looks a bit like a ford ka, which is a ridiculous little car. your work is good, but i dont think this was exactly a car that should have been turned into a convertible.

I think you did a great job on the chop.
Of course everyone has ideas and opinions but I dont really see much that absolutely has to be corrected. Well, Mikes comment on the green seats is true and you could fix that if you wanted.
The only thing that I do feel is wrong is the BG.
The sun is obviously in the wrong spot compared to the lighting on the car.
I make it a point not to use such a background because in reality what we would see of the car would obviously be in the shadow.
Its kind of nit picky I know, and most people may not see a problem with it, but nonetheless if realism is important, especially if you were entering it in a contest, it is a factor.

dam u beat me to it i was about to say the side you see of the car needs to be darker because of where the sun is.
