as of right now its looking like a rpg but with the feature of either playing in first or third person but im trying to keep it as far away from final fantasy as i can so yeah there will be blood and gorebut with an actual system to it not like a button masher as of right now the story line is based in the future about 300 hundred years from now ill release more info as i can i just started on it about a mont ago and im just now getting back from vacation so you guys are going to be the first to hear everything and im trying as hard as i can to keep the graphics you see as the way itll look when your playing it not just in the movie clips so itll be very realistic i hope but its going to take up alot of space so i really need to update my system i figure when its done the game might span 2 max 3 dvd roms
im just shooting for something that has never been done before youll see what i mean in time when i release more shots / movies and info

shaggy i hate to prove you wrong but since you accused me of lieing a dvd only hold 4.7 gigs and thats max unless your using dvd 9 and the ps2 or xbox cant read them and there the only two systems out at this date that can handel these kinds of graphics and do you remember final fantasy x that game almost filled up one complete dvd and need for speed under ground filled up 3 gigs of it it isnt hard to make games this realistic its that people dont belive in more than one disk and exactly how much do you know about video games absolutely nothing if your stating stupid **** like that the point is im not affraid to take my sweet *** time to make a realistic video game when other game makers put out three of four games a year to bring in as much money as they can i dont care about the money i want to create the perfect game

and now back to the question of me not being able to fill up one dvd rom chek the size of either of them pictures thats only one frame from a movie now imagine that it takes 30 frames for one sec of a movie sure the file size will change a little when encoded to mpeg 2 which is dvd format but it will still be huge and 3ds with character studio makes it very easy to make games this detailed people just choose not too and as far as doing this alone im not going to be doing this alone for long every body works alone untill they get the story and everything set up you dont just start with 300 people hell mk only uses 60 these are promos its too allow people to see what i want then others fallow up and continue.

hell on top of that these two only took me an hour to build each and now there completely linked and very easy to animate.

it just seem a like an unrealistic goal, going by your to promos (which are actually very good) the detail in is quite immense, if you where to try and do everything this detailed it would take ages, professional teams like neversoft ect take up to a year working pretty long hours some of them to complete a game. But then again i suppose i shall wait and see.....

i have a mate whos dabbled at some game creation and this is what he reccomends,

1, get a copyright or patent for the games idea

2, write a basic script, character desciptions etc

3, draw a storyboard to put the ideas in a visual perspective

this is what he reccomends you do, but youve probably done all that already, I have just started out, (less than a week) in 3ds studio max, its really powerful! if i have a question about it u reckon u could help me out, coz those frames are awesome....

keep it up,

the weapons look very good nogod, well done. Maybe once you finish this game, make a game like Initial D where you can battle and drift or something. Just an idea .

I don't honestly know what the future will look like, if it will look any different atall, but what I can suggest is a couple of films that are set in the future for you to take a look at and base Ideas on.

Judge Dread, Robocop, 5th Element, Total Recall
give me 30 mins to find some stuff and I will repost..

heres some pictures of what i think it should look like...

Future Clothes Maybe?

Hmmm Maybe not -->

People might have to be generic, meaning they only alloud to ware the same clothes, this may be different, try a search on "futuristic", comes up with good finds. I hope this has helped.
