Default Lower than noob

I don't even rank as a noob yet...yet

Hello everyone I’m Robert. I’ve been addicted to cars since I can remember. I’ve seen lot of different kinds of cars over the last 40 years and with the advent of computers…well they’ve only gotten better.

I’ve recently purchased PS9. Although I haven’t quiet figured how everything works yet. I admire the work all of you can do. Some of the chops here are unbelievable.

The reason I want to learn how to do this is that I’ve got a lot of ideas in my head about customizing cars, but I’m not a good artist. I hope that in the coming months I will be able to start posting some of my (bad and horrible) chops. I will welcome all C&C as long as it’s constructive.

My main focus will mostly be based towards America cars (1950 thru 1980) and trucks (1980 thru 2000), but not just limited to American vehicles. I do have a few ideas for some European cars as well.

The one thing I have noticed here and on other forums is that European cars and modern American cars seem to be the theme to be chopped. I would like to know why is it that no one chops say for instants a 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner or a 1996 Chevy Silverado or perhaps a 1987 Buick Grand National or even a 1983 Hurst/Olds?

I understand that you need pictures of good quality to do a good chop, is it that no one is interested in the older cars or is it just easier ( no offence to all the great choppers here) to chop modern cars?

I hope that someday (soon I hope) that I will be able to contribute to this site the visions of the cars I see in my head. Until then keep up all the great chops, I look forward to enjoying all the masters (chops) who chop here, and any and all advice you may offer me.

Robert

First, welcome to PSC, I hope you enjoy it here....feel free to ask questions, that's what our members are here for is to help..

As far as hardly anyone chopping older cars, well IMO it's because most members are a younger crowd and they're more into newer models....or it could be that people find it easier to throw a body kit, lower it and some rims...I don't really know, but trust me, do your own thing...you'll get recognized easier if you have your own style...

Again, welcome to PSC..
