but an element of realism tends to be kept when chopping, so there has to be some way of keeping them on. oh well, i guess thats what chopping is for, UNrealism :P

Yes!!! My Dream Came True, I like to see someone putting hubless wheels
on there chopped cars.

Here's how it works.
These wheels are connected by a metal arm and ball bearings to the car body...the wheel rotates with the tracks as the metal arm travels around the grooves in the wheel. hard to explain this, but thats how it works...

Here's a thread about them.

I'm glad I copied it on Word.
I edit it a little.

Then:
This was the first auto chop on this site with hubless wheel that I made
long time ago.

I use the hubless wheels from an actual car.
I did the same method on some of my chop cars.
the reason I didn't do it anymore becuase if I post it on a big pic.
it will come out blurry.

Now:
Brian a.k.a Strangester or someone has found another and harder or easier
way to make hubless wheels by using the deep dish technique
(I Think thats what he did.)

I wanted these hubless rims hit the chop scene.
I may so many chopped cars with hubless wheels so much that
someone said u dun it already. So then I stopped.
Months later I saw an Infinti with a Rear Hubless Wheel.
He didn't get if off from the Sbarro Osmos. (name of the car where I got Hubless Wheels From)
He did a deep dish technique which he made a wheel way too deep
that you can't see the wheel and gave it the hubless wheel look.
Now this chop has hubless rims on all wheels.
And Now I better go try that technique.

Hubess Wheels Rule!

Or ask Brain on how do I make my hubless wheel.
Hey Brian, If you can hear me now,
I want to know how to make my own hubless wheel?

the reason i didnt use an actual pic for the rims is because it nearly impossible to find a pic of them large enough its even harder to find them at the right angle and making them is easy find a pic of deep dished rims if you cant airbrush that well and select the center part and delete so you only have the outside and deep part of the rim then smudge the deep part to one side and then use black to show the ending of the rim

alll i do is use the deep dosh wheel tut on this site and take it extreme deepness so that theres no original wheel left and its hubless...however the infiniti i did was the first time i did that..and nogod was first to do it on a normal angle that showed every thing...props to you nogod...awesome chop btw...but wouldn't the neons be behind the mesh?...and what pattern do you use for mesh?...ive been lookin for one for ages...
