Talking My First Brush Attempt

I'm goin to start workin on a car and goin to brush it fully through. Itll b side project for now until a get the time to get fully dedicated to it. i kno no one is a big fan of this angle but with bein my first one i figure it be easy to do the front then doin a full complete car.

Rough Rough Sketch of wut im startin:

if nethin else like tips and other pointers about brushin or wut i need to do feel free to tell me.

ideas look good but seems as the car is facing straight. both sides the car should be identical, what you should do first is copy and past one half of the lines you have drawn that way at least both sides will look the same when you come to brushing it, also when you brush anything you have to find and recognize a light source so for this one your probably best off having the light source coming down from the top of the car so all the highlights are on the top. hope it helps

i took ur advice on the doin the line to make it symmetrical i figure i use the light the base pic has and work from there

Do you use the pen tool at all, it looks like you have a whole lot of short straight lines.

wut was goin to start for my next step of the project i usually do a quick line sketch w the line tool to give me a idea on wut im goin to work with

Dude i complteley agree with the above, learn the basics first then try something like a full brush, it is extremely difficult to get right, the basic tones and stuff is fairly easy but the highlights and stuff are the hardest so if i was you id just try brushing something like a new Bodykit or something
