This is post number one thousand here at PSC.
Here’s a 240SX I’ve been working on lately, I’ve not been able to perfect it because of school and stuff.
Major mods include:
Full wide body w/side vent
Brushed skirt & rear bumper
Sleepy eyes
Lifted hood
BG Change (I like B&W)
Moncef.
Original
Final(?) Chop
Not my best, well, it could be…I’m not sure. Anyways leave some feedback
Edit: I've chopped this car before, for comparison purposes, please check it out:
Thanks
Moncef.

The side vent? Well I had two choices for a widebody, either pull the fender out a little bit (like what 240 guys do when they buy spacers) or pull the whole rear quarter panel back and slide in a vent. I wanted it to look more extreme so i moved the whole thing back
Thank you all for the comments, keep em comin!

It's supposed to be low. That's the way the suspension is set up, for road course/drifting. And the wheel is NOT turned too far, it's just turned all the way to the left. On drift cars, usually the steering is modified for more extreme opposite lock anyways.

I like both Cef's and Claussen's chops, but it does appear that one or both failed to mention where the top came from. I know sometimes you might think, does it even really matter? But chances are, you are going to get called out on it. Its best to save the embarrasment and simply state, "BTW, I borrowed Clausens top for this one, hope he dont mind." That way, Claussen wont mind because he got further credit for his work and even tho you still might get ragged on for doing so, people will respect you for fessing up to it.
Claussen was totally cool in his response, so im thinkin either he is one heck of a nice guy or its possible that he didnt do the top either. (be interesting to get to the bottom of this "top" issue)
Anyhow, I think that bump in the front fender that was mentioned is actually the reflection of the sun.

I have the donor where the top came from, I expected to have this pointed out actually. I was careful NOT to take any parts from his chop, in fact, the only thing I took was inspiration for the sleepy eyes, which look very different anyways. I have the donor sitting on my HD at home, I'll post it here later today.

This isn't one of your better chops, but still pretty well done. In the front fender theres a weird pointy thing in it, little bit right from the side marker. Also I dont like that side vent that much it looks like impossible to open the door without breaking the whole side of the car.
Sorry to be this negative but I know you can do much better than this.

Thanks for the comment. Don't worry about being 'negative' and such. About the door, the vent sits aft of the doorline, so it's open-able. It's only the 3/4 panel that's pulled out anyways. I have one question for you: If you don't think this is my best, what do you think is? Thanks.

Yes it can Suzq, actually Tein makes a special tie rod, especially for 240SX's, that allows you to cut the wheels at a deeper angle. Thanks for the compliments on the chop.

OK bro your exonerated. (regarding the donor top)
Other than using the same original I dont see why Claussen chose to comment.
The only common element is the top and he didnt make it anyway!
Anyhow, I think this is a good chop and agree it might be your best to date.
Improvements I would suggest are:
Brush out that xtreme reflection along the upper portion of the side. With your chop mods it doesnt look natural now. In the process reduce the shadow from door vent (top of door) and pull it back some.
Fix the mirror reflection.
Change front tire to straight or turned opposite direction.
Epilog:
Don't you just love it when you post a chop all happy and proud only to get a ton of criticism and suggestions that basically requires alot more work on something your tired of looking at? Sometimes the life of a Photochopper isnt all its cracked up to be.
If it was'nt for the chicks, I would have hung up my Wacom pen a long time ago!
