Wow - Great truck man. I usually don't like trucks, but this thing is great. What better than a Viper motor. Sweet ride!!!

Thanks for the compliments

In case anyone was wondering the mods so far include:
Custom 3" catless midpipes with DHM electric cut-outs
Magnaflow Cat-back exhaust
X-metal Short-throw shifter
X-metal 1"/2" Lowerin springs/shocks
Smoked tail-lights and 3rd brake light

its not much so far, but it's a work in progress...still saving for the single front mount intercooled turbo system with a touch of nitrous

Nitrous is amazing. I had it a few years back on one of my cars. What does it run in the 1/4? Assuming traction is not a problem of course.

haha I really hope you're being sarcastic about the traction thing ...the tires are 305's but still can't hold all 500+ ponies without the weight transfer of a car... She only runs mid 13's as of now...but that was with the cat-back only(basically bone stock) and weighin in at about 5000lbs all in all, she's alot of fun to drive and gets alot of looks

i really like that. if it was mine id have dropped it a little more but.. most of my dough would be under the hood. they are way fast with a little aftermarket help.

Well keepin it fast is what I have planned, so I didn't want to slam it to the pavement because then you lose all your weight transfer for the hole shot. I'm currently still a Senior in High School so I don't have a lot of cash to spend on it right now. The money I have spent has went into that suspension drop and my custom mid-pipes, cut-outs, and cat-back. total for exhaust and lowering kit(no install charge cuz I did it myself) has been about $2000 in itself

why so much? you can buy a drop kit from DJM or Mcgauphys for like 500 and an entire mandrel bent custom aftermarket exhaust system for bout 700. thats an awful lot for just 2 things.

Never heard of either of those places, not many shops around here. The catback is expensive because there are very few company's produce a cat-back system, hense the $500 for the cat-back and the custom mid's are only $150(since the O2's aren't in production aperrantly)...the cut-outs run around $360 brand new so I got a descent deal on them. Total= $650 if I didn't want the cut-outs. The drop kit is the same way as the cat-back...plus they have thicker springs to hold up the 8.3L better and the rest is C&C billet aluminum. Oh and the $1000 for the lowerin kit also included the price of the short throw shifter. I think that explains everything.

my question is: how the hell can you afford a $40k truck while in high school?

that's cool...they call that color GoMango...but they didn't make my truck in that color. He most likely bought a 5.7L Hemi Daytona Edition Ram 1500. Everyone gets our trucks confused even though they are a whole nother animal. Most of the stock Hemi's run 16 second or slower 1/4 miles, but my truck is in the mid to low 13 second ET's stock

Thanks for the comment

I feel sorry for that Viper heart... it's pushing around a heavy brick with a spoiler most of the the time. Thank god you didn't get the spoiler at least.

Don't feel bad...she doesn't have to struggle to pull the extra weight(540+lb/ft) Oh and it came with the spoiler(all the SRT-10 Rams do...) I just took it off
