Well if he leans out his fuel to muck he has a high chance detination, in wich he will blow his motor. All cars from the factory are designd to run a little rich.

then you can "retard" the timing so it wont detonate or just say screw it and use 110 octane gas just for shits and giggles

orrr since he has a turbo he could have a misfiring system which sends backfires when you're off tha gas, keepin tha turbo to spooled. they got em on rally cars so drivers avoid left foot braking. yeah. but this guy doesnt kno what he's talkin about

having stage 2 turbo and no cats or regulators with straight pipe can backfire car is tuned fine its not too rich or lean...you can simply add flames to any car if u get a high flow cat..simple flames are barely visible but u can hear it combust

Actually that's not entirely accurate. Turbo cars run rich, period. Adding an atmospheric blow off valve and catless exhaust will result in an "Afterfire". See, the bov is located after the MAF....therefore the computer has already calculated the air/fuel mixture. Well, when you shift the bov is going to vent some of that air. That extra fuel makes it through to the hot turbo and exhaust then ignites. They'll do it tuned.

Yes, that's anti-lag......very very bad for a daily driver, lol. It'll kill your turbo and exhaust system within a thousand miles.

No offense, (probably cuz sum dumbshit at our school ****** his up w a fart cannon and wasted his money buying a chip for a stock STi) but i'm not a fan of that car at all. At least get rid of the vinal and change the wheels. I like the color though. I wouldve bought an Evo...or saved up for the new one
