Hey thanks alot all for the nice comments.
^Funny you mention that Honda!
I actually had the Editor of "Truckin" magazine contact me a few months back wanting to do a feature on me after seeing my "Slammed 71" Chevy illustration and the Dodge BFT chop posted here on PSC! He wanted a total of 6 pics to choose from so I had to set about doing a few more, since I dont do that many trucks I didnt have six available for him. Anyhow, this was the last one I did and really took some pains with it to make it clean. I sent them in last week and quiclky got a return email. Unfortunately they rejected this because apparently it too close resembles a truck they had already featured in the mag a few months back. I honestly dont read Truckin or Mini Truck or any truck magazine for that matter so this coincedence is freaky. I didnt even think of doing a mini truck until talking with a cousin about this. He actually owned a Hilux years ago and threw out the idea while we were talking. Im bummed slightly but still excited about the opportunity to get some nice exposure if I can get them the right material.

Lovin everything in it, except for one thing : in the rear - the space between the tire and the body should be covered with back ( or the color of the car ) , but everything else looks awesome.

This was done purposely to show the absence of the inner fender well, which is typically removed as part of customizing. Not sure if its purpose is to simply provide a cleaner look or to afford an unobstructed view of the chassis and suspension mods. Maybe a combination of all three. Anyhow in the case of pickups, depending on the angle, it does leave alot of space. I guess I could have shown a little more of the rear bumper than I did.
This pic of a Datsun shows what im talkin about. Note that it is shot from a little bit lower angle than the Hilux and is sportin wider rims.
