Default New here - .:R32, STi & RX7

Hey guys, just found this forum today. I am somewhat new to photoshop, and over the past week or so completed these chops.

First, the R32:
- Two tone paint
-Lower lip is almost completely brushed, reflections done by me
- Carbon fiber hood
- A few other small things
Original:http://img292.echo.cx/img292/3359/golf4nm8bu4wh.jpg
Chop:

Second, the STi:
- Engine Shot
- Wheels
- Carbon lip
- Color change
Original: http://img157.echo.cx/img157/3176/eimg92702wp.jpg
Chop:

Third, the RX7:
- Color Change
- Carbon fiber body
- The point of this chop was just to test a new method I had for creating carbon fiber. Now much done to it, but it definately looks stylish
Original:http://img146.echo.cx/img146/60/rx7front1zz.jpg
Chop:

So, anyone like them? I think they are pretty good, personally

there should be a bit more of a backing inbetween the gaps in the headlight globes, the shadow also shouldnt come up like it does on the far side of the front bodykit. and thats all that i can find wrong, they are amazing for such a new chopper, well done.

Thanks for the compliments.

v8_king, I understand what you mean by the reflection, but I am not following your comment on the "backing for the headlight globes" If you could explain that in a different way, I would be very appreciative. Thanks

r32 looks wonderful one of the most best resulting one, but red is a little overdone.
sti looks great very realistic, just that it has a top mount intercooler and a frontmount.
rx7 nice job making it look like the carbon fiber rx7 but the carbon fiber needs some color too it a bit.

Nice work!

Thanks again. My biggest problem is that I have almost no creativity. I can only find pics after someone else uses it in a chop. Then I'll be like "Oh, damn, I could make a better chop then that" then it will just all flow out.

I mean, I havent made a new chop now for 4 days because I cant find a good pic to use

mmk, let me try and explain what i meant by the backing of the headlights. well , obviously you have clear headlights and it doesnt really look like there is a cover over them, because of the fact that all of the globes are seperate there are obviously gaps between them, and on your chop, its just black in those gaps between the headlight globes, but in reality there would be a backing in those gaps otherwise **** like bugs n stones or whatever would go straight through there into the engine bay when driving. you should just put a little bit of color in between there so it looks like there is actually something there and there isnt just a hole.
is that better explaind?

No offense, but did you even LOOK at the originals? The STi has a new bumper, wheels, engine shot, and a few other things. The R32 has almost a completely new bumper that I brushed.

Look at the originals a little better to see the other small things that I did.

You're a heck of a lot better than most newb choppers, as well as a heck of a lot better than some seasoned choppers. Welcome aboard.
