Default [AMV]-Audi A6 performance design

Hello there, I return with 1 days work vt this time being yet another Audi A6…once again I went for a European tuning theme for performance cars such as Hamann, Gamballa etc. The body kit is brushed with hand made reflections to make it more realistic and less of the artistic degree. Point of this chop was to see how well I can manage with time and deadlines, its essential in design career to work under deadlines especially for major companies so that’s why I’ve done it as a practice. Hope you like it!

Hmmm, if you were going for a 1 day deadline it definately shows. this is a few steps backwards from what you are capable of. You style of brushing is very "artsy" so it doesnt nessasarily look real. but keep challenging yourself, that's what it all about.

edit: i also noticed there is too much burn tool used under the car. its quite distracting at least for me. Your bursh style is "graff artist-like". I commend you on that, (from a fellow graph artist) but its not good for realism in chopping cars.

HI!!

Nothing to say, but COOOOL !

So I have some questions to you AMV.
You're working with Photoshop, right? Are you using a graphic tablet or something like that? Or do you paint everything with the mouse?
Another question is, are there any tutorials to learn this brushing technique. Or perhaps you can post some pictures from during your work; I mean how you start what happens during your chop. You don't have do it, only if it's ok for you; I don't want to spy your work or something like that.

Ya i use photoshop cs2, i dont have a tablet because i dont free hand paint i use pen tool for the area selections with my mouse.Even when i design the kit sketches i draw them with a mouse, im thinking of getting a tablet but its more comfortable working with it. Tutorials? not that i know off, i guess there are some but i dought you become a pro after reading them...self teaching your self is the best way. Thanks for comments

I think its been rushed a tad, definatley not up to your best work. I think that the rims, for one could be changed. They are very dark and way to high in contrast. As for the body kit, well its definatley not your quality work. Its very blurred and looks very rushed for a person of your talent.

All though its good to work on deadlines, i know comming from a free lancer myself, clients like quality work more than quicker work. Clients usually give you more than a day to work on something anyways =P. I like the idea, but I think you could have presented it better.
