Hey you all,
I have a new business ( http://www.fxcustumz.com/catalog ) and am trying to come up with a good logo and banner. I am stumped on this and am looking for help from folks that know what the hell they are doing. I am willing to cut someone who does me a good Logo and Banner a deal on some products I carry. Basically, I need something that will catch a customers eye for the banner and the logo I pick will hopefully be the logo I stick with. If no one wants to help me out then is there a tutorial on how to create a nice banner? I looked in the forums and could not find one.
Basically I am looking for a favor and I will scratch the back of the guy who scratches mine.
I really appreciate any help I get on this.
Or if someone can point me in the right direction in how to do this I do not mind trying. I have photoshop 7.0. I know it takes more than just a fancy program to do this, which is why I am looking for help from folks who have the artistic ability.
Thanks a lot,
Billy

This guy shouldn't have to scratch anyones back, everyone should be jumping on this one...he is serving our country and deserves at least a banner and logo out of you guys....

Don't worry about it dude, someone will give you what you want, you deserve it. I'd do it but I'm really bad at designing that kind of stuff...

Holy cow....
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the help. This whole business starting thing is very over whelming. I have not been able to spend a whole lot of time on this sort of thing. I tried a little bit last night and got pretty discouraged, to say the least.
Anyhoot, I am going to really appreciate any help I get.

That would be great. I was thinking about using the pic to hte left of my car as a background or a ghost background for the banner. I could not figure out how to incorporate it. I also was thinking of a some sort of animated one too, and again, I could not figure it out.
This is where all of my rides are http://www.streetsourcemag.com/im/vi...x?id=fxCUSTUMZ
And you all know where my site is ( http://www.fxcustumz.com/catalog ) . I carry performance stuff, wheels and tires, Bags, and Compressors, and also lift kits, truck accessories, and even car audio.
I have a little bit of everything right now. I of course love the low, fast and extreme. But will be doing a 4x4 soon.
Anyways, any of the pics on my streetsource account is fair game.
Again,
I appreciate it,
billy

Just to ket you all know, I will be in the field this up coming week. I will hopefully be back next weekend. I will more than likely not be able to check my mail or have internet access for this upcoming week.
I really appreciate everyone's help.
Laters,

If you haven't got it figured out, you could try asking The Fighting Panda Man for that favor, I'm sure he'd be glad to do it, and he's definitely the best of the best for that stuff.

Ok guys, I am back.
I was thinking about this logo thing while I was in the field, and I think I got it. How about if I took the logo what ever it is or is to be and then like come off of the F of Fxcustumz and use the majority of it to start off of a back end outline of a truck. Come over the top of the name with just hte top outline of the truck and then come down with the front end on the Z. I saw one simular with Extensive Metal Works in Houston, TX but the outline is going the opposite way. I also think if the ouline was like strecthed a little bit, it would make it seem low and stand out. The whole low thing is what I am going for.
What do you all think.
Fattie64 has something going as of now with the font and style of the name. I have not seen anything else yet. And Dan has started something for the Front end of my shop it seems. THANKS GUYS!!!!
Anyhoot, thanks a lot for your all's help,
Billy
