OK, I just went through all pinned topics in the Tutorial Section and unpinned all threads with no pics or meaningless pinned threads. Here's some that I unpinned that we could use..

-roof chop(chop top)
-chameleon paint
-burnout
-metallic paint
-widebody
-anything to do with GIF's or imageready

So, if you have some time to burn or bored off your a$$ then make a decent Tutorial and if it's good we'll pin it. And don't be afraid to make one that isn't listed or isn't already in the Tutorial Section.

BUT, PLEASE NO MORE CARBON FIBER TUTORIALS...we have like 300 already and don't really need anymore. In fact, sooner or later I think we'll do a poll on all the repeated Tutorials and see which one is the favorite and unpin all the others and leave links to them in the favorite(pinned)tutorial...but that'll be down the road a little ways..

Clean up has begun. Please vote in the pinned threads in this section(the ones sub-titled Cleaning House).

Thanks, hope this goes well...then maybe we can get rid of a page or two of pinned Tutorials.

EDIT: I almost forgot, what do you guys think of doing a poll on the different paint Tutorials? The reason I ask is because there is ALOT of painting Tutorials and if we can narrow all of them down to one(with links to the others) then that'd be a good thing(I think  ). But on the other hand, most of them have slight differences in them and I'm not sure they should all be bunched up into one thread with links....I'm wide open for comments on this idea .

Yeah I was thinking the ultimate way to clean up the tut section would be to have only posts with links to the tuts pinned. Like a Carbon Fiber Tut Links thread pinned along with other stuff (chrome, weather effects, color changes, etc....).

OK, not to sure what you mean boss but I think you mean putting a Tutorial from the Tutorial Section of the forum on the front page Tutorial link? If so, I just consolidated all the ones I did polls for...maybe you wanna link the best out of those??

Anyways, thanks everyone who voted on the Tutorial clean-up polls. I have consolidated some of them, there's still 2 that need more votes..can't make a choice in the case of a tie, need members to choose...thanks again...

EDIT: BTW, I got it down to 3 1/2 pages of pinned topics so far....not bad considering there was 5 pages huh ??

I know you said that you didn't want anymore CF tuts but I use the displacement map and I just wanna show people how to do it.
BTW I stlole nogod's idea of having a single pic for the tut.

If you're gonna post this, you can cut here
BTW, then end result sucks because I rushed it.

Displaced Carbon Fiber

This tutorial corresponds with Omicron's tutorial so follow his tutorial unless otherwise noted here.

NOTE: I don't reccomend using this strategy for cars with a lot of reflections, or cars that dont need it. I only reccomend to do this to objects with a lot of angles to them (trunks, interiors, big scoops).

Thanks hawk, but as I said before, we don't really need any more...your welcome to post this is the Tutorial Section but and maybe if you get enough positive response on it we'll pin it in with the 20 billion other CF tutorials ....

BTW, an update on the house cleaning(not that anyone cares) but I've narrowed the pinned topics down to about 2 1/4 pages. Thanks for everyone who helped and voted, I know it didn't seem that important to some but the ones who voted helped me out alot, thanks. Now, what else can a waste time and space on ?

BTW, we're always open to new Tutorials, but I think from now on we're not gonna pin every tutorial that pops up. Make a good one and get alot of positive response on it and it'll be pinned. Thanks again PSC members!

If you think that it's something that'll be helpful to other members then go for it, if you get enough good critisism on your tutorial thread then it'll could possibly be a pinned tutorial...

You can tick the animated .gif's one off that list...
