GIMP HELP!!!!

ANYONE!!!! pleeeeeeeeeeease!!!! im so used to photoshop this program just agrevates the tits off me

the following problems are occuring!

*skewing and cropping effectivle
*controlling layers and select them
*painting and smudging just sucks and is sketchy at best

anyone with tips please before i pull my pubes out!

I remember seeing a tut on how to set up the gimp interface to be more like photoshop, that might help. But you would have to do a quik to find it.
