getting it to fit in the BG isnt just about making a shiny reflection on the ground. you also gotta have reflections on the car. im trying to get this to work for me right now. i know that its not easy. but like carty said, get the chop to look good before you worry about the background.

sorry, what are you asking?
which BG would be the best?
these are all WIP's? yes?
the first one has a bit of old car (red, white and blue)
the outdoor ones have corrugated iron in some gaps.
which BG will suit the car best to finish the chop? i think number 3.

i tbink bg 2 but that's already usewd too much so i'd say bg 3
but you really need to worry about blending in the car to a bg realisticly because on all it looks like its floating in mid air..

my suggestion keep the original ground (where the car is on) then with pieces of a different bg add them into the original pic.
you cut out the car and pasted it into the new than you did absolutly nothing to try and give it shade / realism
try to work with shade / position of the car etc.

so don't worry about what bg to use worry about getting it looking realistic

I posted it with the wrong rims but I don't understand where the shadows are supposed to go. This was a quickie. And I did have Martin Pilkish's permission to use that background

i mean i've seen it to many times so i would choose a nother one , i'm not saying it's stolen, i even saw you ask for it on the forums so i know it's not stolen..

just saying try to find a killer bg that no chop ever had that's so much nicer them already used

but it's a great bg indeed

yah just what i thought :
you really need to keep the car and tarmac then place a new bg instead of the building
but be carefull this is a really bright scenery so look for something in the same shine
or daren the tarmac and car then your options are better , i would darken the tyres a bit anyway ..

so try to create something around this

you should use the original pic to guide you when you are applying shadows to the new BG. notice the original as a small, crisp shadow on the ground, duplicate that on the new BG. also, make sure you take care of the gap in the spoiler (delete the BG thats still left over) before you finish.
