Default VolksWagen Golf III

So this chop can be finally counted as completed.

Did 2 versions, one with MK2 Grille and headlights, other with Jetta grille and headlights.
Things done:
New Rims
New Paint
2 New Facias
Shaved door handles
Rusted hood
C+C are welcome.

the collors are too saturated and rear rim looks blurry, but nice chop man! keep it up.

the thing is, that you can't just play with saturation and hue and contrast...you have to overbrush the lighter parts of the car's body (the reflections) for it to look realistic.

compare your side windows with the side of the car....one has contrast, one doesn't...
cars usually have a very reflective coat of paint on them, so whatever is reflecting the sky should atleast at 70 % reflect from the side...

try overbrushing the darker colours on the side with even darker ones and lighter ones with even lighter colours...it ads dept to the picture...i did a real-real quickie with your chop, if you don't mind.



I'm too drunk to explain it all, but i basically selected the lighter parts of the car's side and increased the brightness and then overbrushed the soft corners with a 5% brush of whatever colour was prominent.

as well as the issues mentioned, there are a few blurry outlines around the car and the wheels are a tad blurry and off, try adding shadow to a few areas and the hood etc...nice ideas though!
