Background Changes

i'm pretty good with doing the cars now - but i want to learn more detailed stuff - like proper background changes - does naybody have a good method or tutorial for full background changes - or does it chage greatly from chop to chop?

well just select the car and all its parts and copy and paste basically. Then just adjust to get brightness of the car right and add some shadow under the car.

the thing that i find hard tho is getting the background to show thru the windows - if i got the car on to its new bkgd, then chopped around all the interior bits, then darkened the background in that area so it looked like it was behind a window - would that look right?

yeh or you could make a new layer, selecting the whole window selection, and fill it with a color taht sort of matches teh window, and then put the layer's opactiy down. It might work, well it all depends on the car

Yeh that is kind of hard, especially if the window has a glare on it. I guess you could just delete the windows completely and try to airbrush new windows on to the car or jus tint out the windows black black
