Default 2006 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk V {GT-R}

My first chop... I wanted to keep it pretty simple and not outdo my skills yet... the only source for this is the picture itself... no extra body mods, etc.

Original: ABT Sportsline GTI VSR-4

RZR-Edition Chop: RZR-GTI Mk V

And I have a question/request... how do you do vinyls? Specifically, tribals? I want to put a tribal on this thing but honestly I don't know how.

Look at the ABT license plate in the original. Then look for it in the second.

Anyway, body kit in progress. Pics when I finish it.

I agree. The people at this site have jsut recently became really ugly when it comes to begginers. Just make sure that if anyone gives you advice. Follow it, and then you wont have any problems.

oh and in my opinion dont to tribals. Would you really want a Gti with tribal vinyls on it?

I sure in hell wouldnt. Go for something more along the lines of sponsor logos. As for getting them to loook right, make sure the angles of the logo/vinyl match the angle of the car. And if you have the time and knowledge try to contour your graphics to the body lines.

Yea, we've had some noobs coming in here lately and thinking they run the place but no worries cause they are being put under control as of late. So post your chops no matter how many mods, big or small, easy or hard....if you've done anything to a picture it is a chop so post it up and keep us updated.

If anyone ever has any problems with someone giving them a hard time about a chop they've posted or any other forum discussion just shoot a PM or E-mail to any of the admins or mods and it WILL be takin care of....this is a place for people to learn and help each other out so don't feel as if you have to produce a brushed masterpiece every time.
