Pearl Paint.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to do a pearl paint. I know of the metal flake paint tut but i was wondering if anyone knew about or how to do pearl. If so lmk.

yeah just dont do it.
no offense man but pearlescent paint isn't very attractive to me and im sure there are plenty of other people on PSC that will agree.

I dont care if its not attractive to you. or anyone else for that matter. I just want to know if anyone knows how to do it or could point me in the direction of a tutorial as to how to do it.

the only thing wiv pearl paint is that 1 colour is on all the dark parts and another is on the midtones and another is on the highlights in some cases it take AGES to get perfect.but if u want ill make u a tut,or u cn send me the pic nd ill do it

Ive been seeing alot of questions about people wanting to know how to make a pearl paint... Here is my idea of a pearl color... Now everybody having completely different monitors may make this a disaster but on mine it looks killer. As always comments and criticism are welcome and encouraged.

Actually that looks very much like pearl paint with that green shine. good job.

And Blizzy: Not very realistic. Pearl shine is too dark, it needs to be much lighter.

wat i do iz make a gradient n spread it across the page n thn put it on a soft light setting or sumert like tht n thn delete all the bits not needed, i think it looks gud myself but...... my own opinion init
