Quick! Any Mac OSX users?

I have a 2xcore iMac using OS 10.4

Does anyone know what error this is?

"NSURLErrorDomain:-1005"

I got it trying to access facebook and aim so my guess is it was blocked. Laaame. But could someone help me out and describe what this error means? It says safari lost a network connection and I get the same BS excuse using Firefox or netscape, minus the error code. And I am fuming mad.

ceff soz about the late responce. i dont use face book but have you got the latest safari?? clean your cookies as well


im getting this from firefox (latest version)


but this is the standard safari (non updated and not beta 3)



im thinking contact apple.

i already contacted apple. ive cleaned out my cookies and done pretty much everything short of reinstalling safari...ive found a few solutions that COULD work but i havent been able to try them due to permissions.

oh well.

if your on a network its very possible that your parents blocked these websites, obviously because they don't approve you using them...there are ways around it tho..

if you dont figure anything out in a day or so, let me know, ill fix it

if like carty said the sites have been blocked try this site it bypasses all blocked sites unless the site its self has been blocked lol

Yeah, I've been using a proxy all the time now.

Meh, whatever. I don't really care, Gmail has aim now so it's fine I guess.
