random car sightings, etc

so yesterday i was at work (i work at a restaurant that sits next to a major street), and i looked out the window, and i saw not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 lotus exiges drive by. now first off, you must understand that the elise/exige is without a doubt my favorite car in the whole world. and to see 4 exiges drive by, it was almost like an instant orgasm. what an amazing sight! i mean dont get me wrong, ive seen my share of exotics, but never anything like this! and this is coming from a guy who has seen a bugatti veyron. granted it was at an IAS, but i still saw a veyron. ive got pics of countless exotics, and if you guys would like, i could post some of them. just let me know what youd like to see, and ill let you know if ive got a pic.

which gets me thinking...lets here some of your stories of exotic sightings! and pics would be awesome, too!

Yesterday while I was driving to my Baseball game (state finals 2 hours away) one of my teamates taps my shoulder from the back seat and tells me to look over... there is a truck carrying... a black Gallardo with modified exhaust, a red mercialago with wheels, a yukon on 25's, a SL 500 with wheels, and 2 tuner cars I wasnt paying attention to what kind

I see exotics all the time here in Atlanta... I can guarentee that I will see a corvette every single day

a viper gts drivin very crazy and really bad IMO so he was drivin like hw would be at gumball!!!
and what i rly remember good 6 old celicas in a row!!!!!!
that was awesome....so i mean rly old ones

and when we were driving to the lotus europe meeting we met a europe twin cam special on the autobahn and we drove with it there....gotta know we have one too^^and at the meeting there only were 9 of them and mixed ones not only tcs!!!

so fredjman my question is: do u have pics of lotus europe ....prefer twin cam special^^

PS: ya lotus is an awesome car maker!!!!! but with our tcs we already beated some elise and esprit when we drove around the hockenheimring

silv, im not sure what model youre talking about when you say a lotus europe. if youre refering to the lotus europa, the answer is no. theyre not gonna be nice enough to import those to the US. if youre talking about the older model europa, i cant say that ive seen one of those. i did see an elan once, but i didnt have my camera with me. i do have pics of the lotus elise as well as the exige. and what were you riding in when you were heading to the lotus europe meeting?

Lotus' are exotics now?
They're just go-karts with bigger engines and a roof.

Besides, this is "Random Car sightings", so, I saw a Ford Focus the other day, and a Nissan Micra.

Hey, you didn't say they had to be exotic. I also saw a Ford Escort.

hey mad matt.....when you live in the country wher lotus' are made, im sure theyre an everyday thing to see. but when theres about 4 in your whole town, then its a big deal to see one. and acre, you must be living in a big ballin neighborhood if youre surrounded by lambos, porsches, etc.

lol only thing close to exotic around here is a few corvettes and some panzi drivin a 96' viper gts , that thinks he's king ****.. i saw a sweet *** orenge mercialago roadster last year but i think he was just passin through for a car show

theres these two guys that own a tire shop one owns a ferrari modena and the other a lambo mercilago, when i use to go to spectrum gym someone had a nsx, when i went to the hooka bar a few months ago i saw a black nsx, one time i walked out side of McD i was on break i use to work there, i saw a semi hauling a dioblo VT a testeroosa, and last holloween we went to one of these rich neighbor hoods and saw a DMC DeLorean (back to the future car) and a lotus europa? in the same drive way, ohh yeah and then i went to theis muscle car meet and say a venom 600? yeah that thing was sexy and next to it was a SRT-10 viper, and then a C6 Z-06 vette supercharged pulled up and was reving his engine, what else have i seen, yeah i usually try and keep a close eye out for nice cars, theres plenty more, i use to have pix of the 2 nsx and the modena and mercilago but my phone got wet and lost all the pix ill see if i can find them they might be on the computer

I was in a resturant for someones birthday and I went outside to go to the toilet, and low and behold, and orange Gallardo, and the owner owns a soup shop!!!, me and my family were driving home from Sydney, Australia and I saw something red in the distance coming towards us, it was flying, bout 180kph and what was it, you ask , a koenigsegg CC, absolutely awesome car

Well, Theres a photographer down my street, and when the murcialgo came out he bought one of those, then the gallardo came out, so he bought one of those , he also had a bentely and a maserati a while ago, so i get all my exotic car sightings from him, cant wait to see what he gets next

I can walk 10 mins to my mates house and look at his dad's original 1970 chev camaro. the thing farts in the mornings when you start it, the sound it makes when all four barrels open up in the carby is tremendous.

and my uncle has a 1971 ford fairlane. its cool quickest v8 ive ever been in.

my cousin races a lotus exige, its kinda cool i guess. he works with proches and ferarri's on a daily basis so meh...

well, there is a viper srt-10 near my house, ive seen a ferrari 360 pass by, i've also seen an F50 and the ford indigo concept, which were both very impressive, and there's a lot of porsches around here, and one time i saw a prowler near my house, which is very rare here

erric...you frequent a hookah bar? and i was thinking that i was the only on on here...

back to topic...a few weeks ago i saw the same maserati quattroporte twice in the same day. a friend of my day just bought an NSX, and one of the guys that works at the car audio store i go to has a TT NSX. i also saw a delorean back during christmas time. i would post pics up on here, but i never have my camera with me. so heres a question for you guys: should a lotus be considered an exotic or not?

2...should a lotus be considered an exotic or not?

okay so to number one...i mean the lotus europa i just ddnt know if its called the same over there cuz im in germany...here's a pic of my father's car with which we drove to the european wide lotus meeting...

and to number 2... i think i see mor porsches on the street than lotus so they re exotics and look though there were 30 elise 15 exige and 15 esprit and 20 elan at the meeting it isnt that much for a european meeting...and there onlye were !9! europas there^^

so if any1 wants pics of the jim clark revival or the drift challenge at the hockenheimring just add me...

ohhh yeah forgot bout the bentleys, omg it was the greatest things ever i was pullin out of the mall garage and i saw a bentley continenal gt, and i was just wow, and then i was still waiting to pull out the parkin lot cuz all the trafic and then about 2 min later a rolls royce comes pullin in and its like whoaa what a siting i almost for got bout the time

but yeah the hukka bar is the ****, for those of ya who dont know what it is it is a flavored tabaco its some arabian type stuff
