First Post an first chops

Hey I discovered this site through the section in PAS
I have played around in photoshop before doing little things but never attempted anything like this, I must say its become an addiction
I thought I would show some of my current wip's and see if I could get some c&c
the Porsche was started first and has gone through a couple different incarnations (I will show a couple (later ones)
The VW was started last night and is my first attempt at some brushing, (fenders etc all freehand)


The porsche wil be posted after Its giving me problems with the size (whats the max size I can upload to the site?)

it looks good for first
you used the burn tool a bit to much on the headlights
also your bodywork seems to be cutting into ur tire
and you need some more highlights on your paint
and your bodykit is blury at the bottom
but for a first its good

I did not use the burn tool on the headlights at all, its a layer added to give it the blue color and general look, I thought it looked neat.
The front tire is a problem which I cannot figure out how to fix, the layers are merged so its a pita now to try and change it.
I also agree with it needing more highlights and reflections, how do you suggest I do this, I kind of just have the general lights and darks to define the shape, it would be nice to add, a glossier look to it to match the rest of the paint.
I also just noticed the the bottom, that is easily correctable, but I think I am going to move on with this one unless someone can really help with rear of the body.
I will look at the link given and post up the porsche in a little bit.

the car is slightly rough but hey nobody is perfect... try working on that bodykit and lift the suspension a little...too much friction on those tyres
