problem selecting with pen tool

Its been a bit since I have had time to chop .My business has been pretty busy and I am just now getting a chance to relax a bit. So I have been working on a project and some how in the middle of this I screwed my pen tool up.
When I make a path with the pen tool and then use it to make a selection . it selects in inverse. Anyone have a clue what i need to do to make this select the correct way before I drives me crazy. Thanks

Hey Styler, good to see you back bro.
Regarding your question, the only thing I can think of is your selection setting is changed.
Check your Make a Selection controls to see if it is set correctly on Make a new selection.

Thanks guys got it worked out .... I must have accidentally changed the setting while do some late night chopping work .
