Red To Black

what I do is I change the color of red cars to black. :P If the car's not red i'll make it red then change it to black. This is how I do it.
I start out with this red viper.

Then I duplicate it and go to image>adjust>replace color and set the lightness to -50 and make it look like this...

Then I set the layer that has the replaced color and I make the blending option "pin light" it'll look like this, with a green tint.

then I add black over it and set it to "color" and I set the opacity to 67%

Your final image will look something like this.

A reminder that everything red in the picture will turn black so edit out all the stuff, like the tail lights and stuff, unless you want the tinted light! which is pretty cool

Also you can duplicate the origional layer and set it to pin light right away and then go to replace color and do the -50 thing and change the color until it looks black...

i dunno am i so stupid or what, i cant got stucked; heres what i did, i selected car and went layer>duplicate layer, then image>adjust>replace color and put -50 on brightness and nothing happened, picture didnt become dark and car blue

not only do u change the lightness, you also change the hue, don't forget that...

and no problemo admin, just helping these people out. They were gonna kill for it
