Default CF NSX [mahalo_dudered]

hey guys i just used this in the cf battle- http://www.photoshopchop.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=15808. i really tried to make it look as realistic as possible by making sure that there were still colored reflections on top of the carbon texture. comments please!!!

ur not the only one mate...i think the texture is too big...needs to be reduced a bit...lines on the cf pattern are too big

I think it could use a slight twirl too, to fit the contours of the car and all.. It looks pretty sweet though.

its really easy. i use pretty much the same technique you do to overlay the cf pattern. but in order to keep a lot of the reflections but change the paint, go to image, adjustments, replace color. then pick the part on the car you want to cf. pick the color you want to replace. then make the replacement color a dark, really desaturated greenish-brown. and then change the fuzziness accordingly. you do that first, and then lay the cf texture over it.

and i kinda knew that the cf texture was too big to begin with. i guess i just wanted to make it bigger to emphasize the cf texture. thanks for the comments!

doesnt have to be small to make it CF.. it all has to do with the weave-pattern, and how much per strand etc.. its probably the best of the 4 though.
