Exclamation How to colorize your car really fast!

Hey guys this is my first Tutorial and it's dedicated to my friend lowR1D3Rx!
Hope you guys like it! It's a way to colorize your car in seconds without selecting the car which is taking ages!!!! Enjoy!

STEP 1

We are opening the picture we like to colorize...

STEP 2:

Then we duplicate it..

STEP 3

After that we take the eyedropper tool as shown in the image..

STEP 4:

We are taking sample from the colour of the car! In this case is RED!!!!!!!!!

STEP 5:

Then for the selecting trick... We go SELECT / COLOR RANGE.. This trick will select where is a red color in the picture ( Not all pictures can colorize this way).

AND HERE IT IS THE CAR IS SELECTED!

STEP 6:

After the selection we are making a LAYER VIA COPY!

STEP 7:

We duplicate the copy 3-4 times so only the colour will show up... LIKE THIS.

STEP 8:

After all that we MERGE THE LAYERS TO BECOME A SINGLE ONE

STEP 9:

Then we go to Hue/Saturation to colourize the car...

Playing a bit with the Brightness and Contrast

AND HERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can also make the colour more realistic by playing with the modes!

ENJOY!!!!! THIS TOOK ME ATLEAST 2 MINUTES!!!!!!

Mate this is the basic one! It's pretty easy mate, it took me 2 minutes to change the color! So get into this and you will like the process!

You could also go to variations under image/adjustments/variations that works well too!

Thanks guys..Glad it helped you..

@harrygillis: Yeah but sometimes we need to choose all the car that we want to color; without coloring other stuff (trees, buildings or what ever)

@dan_ep82: Why should i delete the stars mate? The images are working properly either way..
Shhhhh...i get it, i get it
