Chroming Stuff

Start out with this pic, thanks to Glacious for his fine chop...

Step #1: Outline the parts you want chromed.

Step #2: Click the layer mask button (#1) then it will take the selection and hide anything that wasn't selected. (mask shown in #2)

Step #3: Set your blending option for Screen by clicking on #2 then #1

Step #3 1/2: it'll look like this for a minute.

Step #4: Go to image>adjust>levels and set it to this.

Finale: It should end up like this....

omicron this is nuts ur probably the best all arounder photoshopper at this site.

how did you learn to make all these kick *** effects man??? did find tutorials off the internet, and if so can you me a link to a site with good tuts??

Thanks, i'm flattered, but I don't really think i'm the best all around chopper. I try to be good, but as good as am, i'm still not near the best.

I teach myself all this stuff. I know how things run in photoshop, so I use that to adapt to what I need to do. I don't really know a lot of sites with tutorials. All the tuts I read are usually for website making, cause i'm not all that great with makin' them.

BTW, thank to everyone else, glad the tut helped, that's what it's here for

well maybe not the best car chopper, but ive seen some non car photoshops by you and their really, really good. im sure that guys like IAC and glac cant make some the effects you do. and you take those effects and use em on cars sometimes. you just have really good PS knowledge in general

thats why i think your prolly the best and im always lookin forward to your work
