Can you say overkill?
this is just pure insanity... as if the S7 wasnt fast enough, they went in and dropped a twin turbo system. 60 in 2.8 seconds... crazy

Nurimburg? Never heard of it...Maybe Nurburgring Nordschliefe? I have riden in a Saleen S7, and it really had too much power for it's own good. Kind of like tuned Cayennes.
And damn, if your dad got to race a S7 TT around Nurburgring Nordscliefe, he is one lucky man.

i really wouldn't know, but if a car is melting its wheels I'd say its overpowered.

Indeed, the Atom is insane. It's like an UltimaGTR, it'll kill most everything off the line.
They basically built an oversized go-kart and tossed in a civic type R motor. Crazy brits! It holds 3rd place on the TG track, too. Must have insane lateral g's on the skidpad.

seems as though everyone worships the nre Ferrari FFX or whatever its called. It has comparable #'s.
I'd take the Saleen over an Enzo anyday personally.

^ agreed
ferrari knows what they are doing but there are cheaper and sometimes faster alternatives out there i think to be competitive in the future ferrari will have to up their production and lower prices to compete with the other choices

Supraskill, you are completely wrong with you're last statement.
There will always be lighter, faster, cheaper, better cars out there. Its a fact of life. That does not matter at all to ferrari. If they make the cars, they will have customers, simple as that. Ferrari owners know that theyre cars for the most part arent the best out there. Thats not why they own them. Its the heritage, styling, sound, and the pure driving experience that they are drawn to. There will always be a person with enough money to afford the latest ferrari supercar. Do you want a prime example? The FXX. Its roughly $1.8 million, illegal to drive on the road, and you must pass a driving school to be eligible for ownership. Is it the best car ever? No. But they will sell to everyone it is offered to.

ferraris are usually just bought because of the badge nowadays, the majority of big ferarri fans are not rich enought ot buy them, the people that are rich enough dont buy them because they are fastest or the best looking, they buy them because they are a Ferrari.
