I can give a hand to some new people by putting together a few Solidworks tutorials. Nothing too indepth, but it will help them break the ice.

I think they meant a tut for Cinema 4D not 3DS Max.

Why don't you try this link. It is for modeling a Chevy Belair in C4D.

Good Luck

You can get a demo from www.discreet.com.

Talk about where to download free software is not allowed here. Sorry

I will try. What do you know of the program so far? I will start by asking that. This way, I can get a baseline of where you are. We can go from there.

well its setup pretty similar to inventor so I already know the basic solids work. like extruding something, making a sketch on a face, then extruding something else kinda thing. i don't really need any technical tutorials on how to use stuff as much as "make this" kind of tutorials so I can get experience thru that.

I have the tutorial manual for SW '99, along with the actual software manual. I also have the CD's from my training on the 2005 version. I could possibly send them along with the other stuff if you want them. I still have to get around to that... LOL

naw I think I'll be fine. don't bother sending the other stuff either, I'm good without it.

Right now I'm working on a pencil I'll show off here later. I have finished the two parts of the tip and the two parts to the top. I still have to do the body, gripper, fancy decroation piece, and the little clip too.

I'm so glad I can render this stuff now.

Did you get the Photoworks add-on with SW? What version of SW do you have? Do you want any of my files
to see how I do my stuff?
