Pixelation

I know this may seem like a dumb question, but it pisses my off to no end. Why is it everytime I recolor an image, no resize at all. It always comes out fuzzy.

just kinda pisses me off, cause my chop is good, but then its all blah with pixels :blink:

maybe your coloring your chops incorrectly in your lancer chops it looks like u used either linear burn or color burn that causes pixely images

what program are u editing with? and how do u save (specific process)? then we can tellu where it went wrong

Also wondering if maybe your having the same problem I had when I first started PS. Does your picture look fine in PS, then when you upload it it gets screwed up?If you are using AOL to upload your pics, you need to go to Settings, Internet Options, and click Never Compress Graphics. If it is set on anything else it'll screw up your pics bad...I finally learned this after a while and haven't had a problem since...

I did have to resize the lancer pic, but that was only smaller, i never once made it any larger.

As for coloration, I believe that I am doing it correctly, if not I have been doing it wrong for 3 years :P

Normally, say I have 2 images of different colors, I will desaturate both and then brighten and contrast them both so they are visually both within the same graytone scale range. Then I will apple+b (color balance) them as one. then play around with the hue and saturation tool. Till I get the desired color I am searching for.

If I dont want to add a kit to a car, and can use the original color, I will go straight into hue and saturation and kick around the hue tool till I get teh color I want.



I am using PS7. and to save, file save, and then either PSD or JPEG *shrugs*
