i was a major comic nerd as a kid, hollywood already ruined my favorite marvel characters.
wolverine would be first,he would never be a big p*ssy like hugh jackman,.
^frank millers wolverine circa 1982
and also the punisher has always been one of my favorites, but there has been 2 abomination's of a movie
representing this vigilante
the first was with Dolph Lundgren way back in 89,**** was awful
^how could this douche be the unmerciful punisher??
and the 2nd which came out in 2004, and it was even more terrible.
bahhh hollywood blows!!
rant over

Tony Stark (aka Ironman) made an appearance at the end of the Hulk movie, and in a conversation with General Ross he made a statement that they were putting a team together. This is a teaser for the upcoming "Avengers", which I believe they have already begun production on.
^ yeah Sinic, I agree that most of those earlier attempts to bring Superheroes to life were ridiculously bad. Like you I hated both of the Punisher faux paux. I dont think Jackman did that bad with Wolverine. You have to consider the audience they are targeting with these movies. Thats why im so interested in this new Batman, cause it supposedly dipicts the Dark Knight Batman pretty close and is not aimed toward the general audience. Ive heard alot of unsuspecting parents have had to leave with young children so thats a good sign.

^^haha nice!
i did enjoy the last installment , the batmobile bieng the coolest of them all, and a much better actor lineup. {although Jack Nicholson was an amazing joker}
Christian Bale makes a great Bruce Wayne.
speaking of dark night, ever read "the dark knight returns" by Frank Miller
def one of the best batman books of all time, written and pencils by miller.if you haven't,shell out the 20-30 bucks at a comic store,I actually had the first press of the g.n., and wore it out from reading it so many times as a kid! I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Iron Man and the newer Hulk were both made by Marvel's own studio (properly named Marvel Studios) instead of someone else... thats why they were so great
Marvel Studios is also planning on producing Ant Man(2009), Captain America(2009), Thor(2009), Nick Fury(2010), The Avengers(2011), Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Hawkeye, Shang-Chi, Cloak and Dagger, Power Pack, Iron Fist, Luke Cage(finish dates currently unknown)
