i dont know what to say that is SICK, carbon fiber is AWESOME, could yu give me a tip on how you get your cf so good, VERY GOOD

well, i selected the area that i wanted to have the CF on then i made that area into grayscale and made a copy of it ... the i took my CF pattern added a twirl.. 50degrees is how much i twist the cf... then ctrl+left clicked the mouse on the grayscaled copy for,, then inversed the selection and hit delete. Now the CF is almost done.. i chose SOFT LIGHT from the layers table and dropped the opacity to 75-80... I the cf look dark then use BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST to lighten the grayscaled area....here is the CF sheet:


just RIGHT CLICK and SAVE AS...

ur c/f is diffrent sizes the hood weave is bigger than the rest and on the front view the flames hit on the rear arch and on the rear view it doesnt.....it neeeds some work but just keep at it

ur not really suppose to see the twirl.. its just for a tiny bit or realism
